The City of Pasig has once again recognized as among the country’s top performers in the campaign against illegal drugs during the 2018 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award.

Pasig City got 1st Place, ADAC in National Capital Region (NCR) out of 16 Cities and 1 Municipality, receiving Gold Award after garnering 100% score functionality points during the conduct of 2017 ADAC performance audit. 20 other LGU’s also got the same perfect functionality points score and as incentives, they will receive each P250,000. 2nd place in over-all Gold Award for the 2018 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council performance out of 241 LGU’s in the Philippines.

During the flag ceremony, Mayor Bobby C. Eusebio presented the awards to the City Government employees and the public together with the Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Pasig (ADCOP) Chief Zenaida Conception.

ADCOP program has become effective and efficient thru the effort of the City Government and with the participation of the public.

Other awards and recognitions receive are the following:

• Plaque of Appreciation from the Dangerous Drugs Board, Office of the President for the unwavering & Genuine Support in the Campaign of the Government in the Demand Reduction & Community Based-Treatment Intervention and Rehabilitation Program (CBTIRP).
• Plaque of Recognition from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Inter-Agency on Committee of Illegal Drugs (ICAD), Office of the President for the commitment in implementing Anti-Drug Advocacy thus greatly contributed to intensifying war against drugs
• The DOH Regional Office Granted Financial Assistance in the amount of Php 200,000.00 to Barangay Oranbo for the implementation of Community Based Rehabilitation Program in the National Capital Region (NCR).
