NOW HAPPENING: Seminar-Workshop on Understanding and Integrating Sexuality, SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, Sexual Characteristics) to Gender and Development (GAD) Programs

Members of the Pasig City Government's GAD Executive Committee, Technical Working Group, Trainers, and representatives from the Local Council of Women and the PRIDE Council are gathered today, September 20, 2022 for the said seminar-workshop.

Councilor Corie Raymundo, Chair of the City Council Committee on GAD and author of Pasig's Ordinance No. 4, s. 2022 or the Comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Ordinance of Pasig City, is currently discussing a briefer on the ordinance.

Objective of the seminar-workshop is to facilitate understanding of the basic concepts of Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion, and how local government agencies or the GAD Focal Point System affect and impact gender norms, roles, and biases. Apart from this, the seminar-workshop aims to foster appreciation of how these principles can be applied in the workplace.
