LOOK: Launching of USAID Opportunity 2.0 Program in Pasig City

Stakeholders from various sectors in Pasig City gathered today, September 15, 2022, at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig for the Program Launch of USAID Opportunity 2.0.

Pasig City is one of the 15 cities in the Philippines identified as a project site of the USAID Opportunity 2.0 Program that aims to support the education, employment, and livelihood needs of vulnerable out-of-school youth (OSY). 

In particular, the support will come in the form of provision of educational opportunities and experiences to OSY that can help them transition to further education and training, and jump start their career on the right foot towards success, among others. 

Part of this program is the establishment of the Pasig City Youth Development Alliance consisting of various government agencies, local businesses, schools, youth, and youth serving organizations that will coordinate local efforts to help Pasig City’s OSY.

Opportunity 2.0 is a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the City Government of Pasig, Department of Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
