00:16 - 03:12: Pasig City Response during Typhoon Kristine

- Mayor Vico expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped during the operations/response to Typhoon Kristine:

• To the City Government Offices, led by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, with the help of the Peace and Order Department, Traffic and Parking Management Office, City Engineering Office, Solid Waste Management Office and City Environment and Natural Resources Office for the clearing operations, Community Relations and Information Office for monitoring updates in the barangays, Pasig Urban Settlements Office for its active mobilization, and of course the City Social Welfare Development Office for camp management.

During the peak of the typhoon, 24 evacuation sites in 17 barangays were opened. He likewise mentioned those who distributed relief goods to the evacuation centers, even during the wee hours of the day, and the City Health Department and personnel from Health Centers who also rendered their services during the typhoon.

• To National Government Agencies such as the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine National Police, among others, who likewise extended help to City Government response efforts

• To the Barangay Governments who set up evacuation centers in advance, which helped in the management of internally displaced persons during the typhoon.

• To volunteers and representatives from non-government agencies who assisted during the operations

- Mayor Vico shared that during response to typhoons such as Typhoon Kristine, the City Government mobilizes more than 1,000 individuals. He explained that while he cannot mention all offices who took part in the response efforts, rest assured that everyone’s contributions – personnel and volunteers alike – are very valuable. He again thanked everyone for their help.

04:00 - 04:40: Mayor Vico then mentioned that some concerns regarding the Temporary City Hall are being addressed. One particular example is the space for the City Health Department (CHD). He shared that an extra space that CHD can use in the Temporary City Hall has already been identified.

04:40 - 04:45: Mayor Vico concluded his speech by extending his thanks and blessings to everyone who attended the ceremony.
