Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto addressed the following points during this week’s flag-raising ceremony:

00:01-00:05: Mayor Vico acknowledged everyone who attended the flag-raising ceremony.

00:06-00:30: Semana Santa 2025

Mayor Vico thanked everyone who attended the Cultural Parade and Senakulo yesterday, April 13, 2025. He encouraged everyone to participate in the lineup of activities scheduled in observance of Semana Santa 2025.

00:31-01:22: Opening of the Pasig City Library

- Mayor Vico shared a teaser about the re-opening of the Pasig City Library after its renovation. He noted that the infrastructure is already in place but emphasized the importance of ensuring that the library is fully equipped to meet public needs.

- He also mentioned that the Discovery Centrum will open at a later date, but the Main Library, especially with the closure of the satellite library previously located in the old City Hall, will be soon re-opened to accommodate students and professionals seeking a public space to study and work.

01:23-02:05: Other reminders

- Mayor Vico reminded the Peace and Order Department, the Traffic and Parking Management Office, and the Traffic Unit of the Philippine National Police - Pasig, to carry out their duties with integrity and free from any political interference.

- He also reminded City Hall employees that there are only three working days this week. He encouraged everyone to maximize their time and work efficiently to handle the week’s workload, so they can enjoy the holidays starting Thursday with their families.
