DID YOU KNOW that Dimas-Alang Panaderia, the oldest bakery in Pasig, and possibly one of the oldest in the country, was likely established in the early 1900s as Dos Hermanos Panaderia.
The name Dimas-Alang Panaderia was adopted in 1919 when the original owners sold out to Teresa Raymundo, sister of Mayor Cipriano Raymundo. The bakery's management was passed on to Felisa Lozada, daughter of Teresa and Lucio Lozada.
The bakery has contributed to Pasig's reputation as a source of old-fashioned baked products, such as monay, pan Americano, pan de coco, biscocho de Cana, aglipay and the iconic "Hindi ko Akalain".
