I. ACTIVITIES
A. Career Caravan Tour - February 7, 2012 (Tuesday)
The BCE Scholars is having a Career Caravan in all the Secondary Schools in Pasig. As suggested by the City Mayor, a tour of selected City Government Facilities catering to other career options for the graduating high school students is included. Establishments that are part of the tour are as follows:
1. Pasig City Institute of Science and Technology(PCIST)
2. Pasig Youth and Development Center (PYDC)
3. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP)
4. Gender and Development (GAD) Center
5. Pasig City Hall
In coordination with Ms. Ester Yamson of BCE Scholarship Program, Tourism Staff Ms. Ana Katrinah G. San Mateo conducted the students’ tour in the said establishments. The Rizal High School students were the first to be toured on February 7, 2012. They were in two batches of 180 students per batch, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
II. VISITORS
A. Student from Palatiw Elementary School - February 8, 2012 (Wednesday,unscheduled)
The influx of Grade IV students from Palatiw Elementary School on the afternoon of February 8, 2012 has caught the attention of the museum staff. According to the students, they were given an assignment by their teacher Ms. Ana Grace Reynales to list all the labels inside the museum. Because of this, the students were gathered at the Bulwagan ng Sining at Musika (AVR) and were given an orientation by Museum Curator Ms. Lilimay Manalo Castor regarding the museum facilities, etc. Afterwards,the students were guided by Tourism Staff Ms. Ana Katrinah G. San Mateo.
